We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inspection Coordinator to lead and manage product and process inspections within our manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring inspection activities meet internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with quality control tools and standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection Oversight

  • Coordinate and oversee all product and process inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between inspection, production, programming, and quality teams.
  • Ensure timely inspection and release of parts/products according to schedule.

Quality Standards Compliance

  • Ensure all inspections comply with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards.
  • Support internal audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.

Technical Analysis

  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing in inspection processes.

Team Collaboration & Support

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities.

Process Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and non-conformances.
  • Use ERP/QMS systems for tracking and reporting where applicable.

Experience

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement, inspection, and root cause analysis.

Position Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiar with inspection tools such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Solid understanding of quality standards, GD&T, and tolerancing.

Software Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP or QMS systems is an asset.

Soft Skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solver with sound decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team.

Other

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Flexible with changing priorities and schedules.
  • Safety-focused with knowledge of shop floor protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.75 per week
