The Website Manager will be responsible for the overall management, optimization, performance, and integrity of all websites under the Capital Automotive Group umbrella, including dealership sites and UCC. This role requires a strong grasp of digital performance marketing, vendor management, analytics, UX, and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will ensure our websites are effective lead-generation tools and represent our brand with excellence.

Website Management & Optimization

  • Oversee all website properties for dealerships and UCC (18+ websites and growing)
  • Manage content accuracy, updates, and new model launches in coordination with dealership and marketing teams
  • Optimize site performance for speed, mobile, SEO, accessibility, and user experience
  • Collaborate with Marketing and IT teams on landing pages, campaign pages, and integrations

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Create and maintain performance dashboards and monthly rooftop reports (lead volume, bounce rates, conversion rates, form fills, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve website effectiveness through A/B testing and CRO strategies
  • Monitor SEO rankings, GMB/GBP listings, and ensure consistency across locations

Vendor & Platform Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for website vendors (OEM providers, third-party platforms, etc.)
  • Hold vendors accountable to SLAs, performance, uptime, and support responsiveness
  • Work with internal and external teams to execute platform upgrades or migrations as needed

Compliance & Brand Standards

  • Ensure websites meet all OEM compliance requirements and represent Capital brand standards
  • Work with HR/legal on privacy policies, disclaimer updates, and web accessibility compliance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with dealership GMs, Sales Managers, and Fixed Ops leaders to align on promotions, inventory, and digital strategies
  • Partner with Marketing on digital campaigns and their web integration
  • Support new store launches or acquisitions with fast deployment and brand alignment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing multi-site or franchise websites (automotive or retail preferred)
  • Experience working with automotive website providers (Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, Sincro, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and content management systems (CMS)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and vendor negotiation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with tools like Hotjar, SEMRush, or Data Studio is a plus
