About the role
Starlink Aviation is looking for an M2 Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer !
Your role
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will perform the maintenance tasks scheduled by the coordinators. The duties include, but are not limited to:
• The performance of such inspection, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, or modifications to Starlink fleet aircraft, components, equipment as may be assigned;
• Conduct certification of work, recording of discrepancies and completion of aircraft paperwork in accordance with company and regulatory requirements;
• Conformity to the procedures contained in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM);
• Reporting to the maintenance coordinators any discrepancies discovered during their maintenance activities;
• Reporting to the maintenance coordinators any unaccomplished work using the carry over process;
• Support the rectification of deficiencies noted during routine inspections or reported by a crew after a flight;
• Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers;
• Maintain his training level;
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and use only approved equipment and materials provided by the company;
• Maintain an organized and clean working environment;
• Can be asked to perform duties, if downtime occurs with your assigned team, (ex: Line or Moderate /heavy team), to work with the other team as needed;
• All other assigned tasks.
Requirements
* Must hold (or in progress of) a valid Transport Canada AME license;
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;
- Perform duties according to aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
- Eligible for obtaining an identity card for restricted areas (RAIC);
- Driving License class 5.

- Excellent communication skills (English and French);
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions;
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with high attention to detail;
- Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
