Assistant Manager

What you’ll do
- Delegate duties and supervise facility employees
- Supervise and participate in receiving, processing, and shipping grain commodities
- Maintain an understanding of end-user requirements to ensure the product meets specifications
- Ensure consistent compliance with quality control standards
- Monitor and recommend improvements to increase operating efficiency and profitability
- Keep safety top of mind
What you bring to our team
- At least four years of grain and/or special crops experience
- Good communication and working relationships with your teammates and customers
- The ability to effectively plan and organize employee activities
- The aptitude and physical ability to operate grain processing equipment
- Good eyesight and colour perception
