Safety-Kleen in Chelmsford, ON is seeking a Sales and Service Representative (Class DZ) to join their safety conscious team! The SSR executes daily waste pickup and delivery services at client sites. The role will also require performing sales-driven tasks to help solicit new business. You will drive our sustainability mission by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting Safety-Kleen products and services.

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate Class DZ trucks to deliver and pick up waste from client sites (such as used oil, anti-freeze, and related products).
- Manage daily routes and ensure compliance with schedules while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Safety-Kleen products and services, contributing to revenue growth.
- Ensure accuracy in product deliveries, waste pickups, and related documentation.
- Adhere to all company, provincial, and federal safety regulations and guidelines, including transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and workplace environment.
- Participate in required training and maintain all certifications necessary for the role.
Qualifications
- Valid DZ license with operating experience highly preferred (manual transmission would be a significant asset).
- Possess a "hunter" mentality - enjoys building relationships and confidence to execute sales tactics.
- Must be tenacious and assertive with strong organizational skills.
- Vacuum truck operating experience is a strong asset but not required.
- B2B route sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Environmental Services/Hazardous waste experience is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
- Clean driving record.
