We are seeking an experienced and passionate Server to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, telling the story behind the dishes, and delivering a memorable dining experience that reflects The Acorn’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and hospitality.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining a positive, efficient dining environment.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of The Acorn’s menu, including farm-fresh ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions, helping guests make informed and thoughtful choices.
- Ensure the highest standard of presentation for all dishes and beverages, maintaining consistency and attention to detail in every aspect.
- Promote sustainability by adhering to zero-waste practices, minimizing waste, and using sustainable products throughout service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing the dining room for service.
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-driven environment by communicating effectively and supporting your teammates during service.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience serving in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment.
- A passion for sustainability with experience implementing zero-waste practices.
- Bonus points for bartending experience.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and a commitment to supporting the community.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- WSET Level 2 or equivalent is an asset.
The Details:
- 2-4 floor shifts per week depending on preference
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
