Job Summary & Key Responsibilities
BIOL 3322: Parasitology – Fall 2025 (2 positions)
The instructor(s) are responsible for lectures, and coordinating the laboratory component for Biology 3322.03 of the class during the Fall 2025 term; assisting students on an individual basis; general administration of the classes (handling student issues, submitting grades, hiring/supervising TA’s, etc.); and invigilating tests and examinations. The part-time academic should expect to spend considerable time before and after the official course dates preparing and marking. Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus, or out on field trips if appropriate. The position(s) reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
The applicants will have an advanced degree in biology. Previous, recent teaching experience (classroom and or laboratory) in the related discipline would be a definite asset. First time applicants must provide the names of two referees.
Salary Range/Pay Rate
Per CUPE Collective Agreement
