Finance as a Growth Engine

Evident doesn’t treat finance as a back-office function—it’s a core driver of scale, margin, and innovation. We expect our CFO to lead with data, automate wherever possible, and act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.

Your Mission:

Build a high-performance finance function that is equal parts strategic and operational. As CFO, you will lead financial planning, margin improvement, unit economics, and global scaling initiatives across our business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:

   Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with Evident’s product, services, and AI roadmap.

• Revenue & Cost Optimization:

   Model and manage profitability across business lines (outsourcing, software, logistics, education).

• Systems & Automation:

   Deploy and optimize NetSuite, Expensify, Power BI, and AI-based tools to automate reporting, procurement, billing, and FP&A workflows.

• Reporting & Analysis:

   Deliver board-ready financial reports and real-time dashboards that guide operational decisions.

• Global Operations:

   Manage multi-entity, multi-currency finance operations, including tax strategy, transfer pricing, and compliance across Canada, US, and APAC.

• People Leadership:

   Lead and grow a Manila-based finance team to support a global organization.

Your KPIs:

• EBITDA and contribution margin improvements
• Automation % of core finance workflows
• Forecast accuracy and cash visibility
• Unit economics by service line
• Team performance and retention

Who You Are:

• 10+ years in finance with  mandatory SaaS experience
• Proven track record leading finance in high-growth, global companies
• Deep systems and automation mindset; NetSuite, Power BI, and AI-based financial tools experience preferred
• Based in Vancouver or Toronto and ready to relocate or commute to Vancouver HQ (relocation support available)
• Fully committed to a Work-from-Office leadership role

Compensation & Location:

CAD $250,000-$350,000 base salary plus incentive.
