About the role

As Section Director of Visibility and Engagement, you will lead the team responsible for B2B marketing communications, content strategy, events, and promotional initiatives. Your mission: drive sales enablement and strengthen engagement among financial advisors across internal networks (Caisses, SSD, VMD), priority networks (SFL, DFSIN, WorldSource), and intermediary partners (MFDA, IIROC) nationwide. You will play a key role in mobilizing your team, inspiring them to act as true performance catalysts within an agile, squad-based structure. Collaboration, autonomy, creativity, and the development of a distinctive B2B marketing expertise are central to their identity. With solid management experience, you know how to optimize resources, ensure high performance, and uphold accountability. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Support your manager by contributing to work organization and operational planning within your unit.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor an action plan aligned with the strategic directions of the Vice-Presidency and integrated with other administrative units, in a performance management context.
  • Maintain deep expertise in B2B marketing and best practices in this field.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of investment solutions and distribution networks.
  • Implement management and communication practices that foster change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, engagement, and diversity, in alignment with the organization’s values.
  • Define and implement service offerings to maximize business results and ensure financial advisor satisfaction, ultimately benefiting members and clients.
  • Manage individual and team performance in support of your unit’s action plan.
  • Embody and promote the cooperative values of the Desjardins Movement.
  • Continuously improve process management within your scope.
  • Foster strong relationships with business development partners, product teams, compliance, and other stakeholders.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including three years in a management role
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Advanced proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge in investment products and financial markets
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools
