We are looking for full-time, in-person, Processor/ Corporate Support to join our team at our Downtown Office. The successful candidate will process Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund trades for our Financial Advisory Branch. As well, act as reception relief and back up coverage as part of the Corporate Team. We are seeking a candidate that can start as soon as possible. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will be working in one of our downtown branches consisting of 16 advisory teams and their staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Processor
Daily processing of all mutual fund and segregated fund trades, follow-up of pending trades, system maintenance, and electronic archiving of trade tickets. Be the liaison between Head Office Compliance and branch personnel regarding any compliance issues, processing procedures and policies.
You will be the initial contact person for the Advisory teams and anyone with questions regarding mutual fund orders and its’ proper procedures within our branch.
In addition, using your organizational and tech-savvy skills to remove unnecessary pending trades from database (on-going project), correct database problems on an individual client basis. Posting of trades that can’t be wire ordered. Electronically save trade tickets, bank deposit slips and documents. Purge electronic documents once past required document retention period
Corporate Support
Act as reception coverage when a team member is on vacation or sick. Along with any tasks assigned by the Office Manager to support the function of the Corporate Team.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Exceptional attention to detail and can multitask
- Ability to work under pressure and in time-constraint situations with a calm composure
- Effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadline
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (be able to think outside the box)
- A high degree of professionalism and organizational skills
- Conscientious nature and strong client service skills (“can do” attitude)
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- A proven ability to work in a team and independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Microsoft Teams
- Minimum one year of administrative or back-office experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Experience in processing mutual fund trades would be an asset
- Completed or completing either Canadian Investment Funds Operations Course (CIFOC) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) also an asset.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary is $55,000 - $60,000 per year depending on experience & qualifications.
- 15 days’ vacation in a year (first year is prorated depending on start date). One extra day per year after 5 years up to a maximum of 20 vacation days
- 2 bonus vacation days in the summer
- Company covers 100% of the premium for extended health & dental coverage after successfully passing 3 months' probation. Employee paid Long-Term Disability is also available.
