About the role
Adecco presents an exciting opportunity for a Account Receivable/ Collection Agent in Edmonton, AB. We are currently recruiting for a temporary Accountant position, working on a contract with our esteemed client, a multinational industry leader in the field of industrial gases and services.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in receivables and collection calls. Join our client's workforce, which prioritizes professional growth and fosters a collaborative and welcoming work environment.
- Location : Edmonton, AB | In-Office
- Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 am – 5 pm
- Job type: Full-Time | Temporary for 2 months to start with high possibility of extension, or permanent hire
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: $23/ hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting Billing Adjustments
- Handling Collection Calls/Emails
- Distributing invoice/Statement copies
- Setting up Monthly Cash collection in CyberSource
- Processing payments
Requirements and Qualifications:
We expect the following qualifications from our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting or Business is an asset
- Customer Service Experience in office environment. Experience dealing with customers on daily bases is required.
- 6 months of collections or Account Receivable experience is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent customer service abilities
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Residency in Edmonton is required
- Must be available to start ASAP
- Legal eligibility to work full-time hours in Canada
