About the role

The town of Spirit River is a thriving community in northwestern Alberta and one of the oldest towns in the Central Peace Region. Pleasant View Lodge houses 52 continuing care home spaces and 40 lodge spaces to address the growing demand for senior care in our region. The Lodge meets the diverse care needs of seniors, offering a range of options from independent living to more specialized care. Residents of the CCH space have access to housekeeping, meals, social workers, activity programming and a “home-like environment”. Pleasant View allows residents to live closer to their own homes and network of people while focusing on the changing care as they need it. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
