The Pooled Fund Management team is responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic initiatives across our global pooled fund platform. The team monitors over 140 funds for 14 CC&L affiliates in 4 jurisdictions: Canada, Cayman, Europe and USA.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Specialist or Analyst to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and is interested in investment fund oversight.
What You Will Do
- Fund Oversight & Operations
- Monitor NAVs, fund expenses, and accruals across pooled fund structures
- Support fund launches, closures, and restructures in coordination with Legal, Product, and Transitions teams
- Assist with fund distributions, year-end processes, and regulatory filings
- Governance & Compliance
- Build and maintain internal fund data trackers
- Assist with compiling board and audit deliverables
- Monitor compliance of fund and client eligibility and taxability
- Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and fund trustees
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare fund-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Support due diligence and investor inquiries
- Assist with fee modeling and fund performance analysis
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with internal teams and external service providers to ensure smooth fund operations
- Participate in strategic projects such as fund platform enhancements and service provider reviews
What You Bring
- Industry Knowledge: 2+ years of experience in investment, finance or banking. Experience with Canadian, US, Cayman or UCITS funds would be an asset. Understanding of different pooled fund structures would be a bonus (e.g. Trusts, Mutual Funds, CITs, LPs, UCITS, Master Feeders).
- Interpersonal: Collaborative approach working with others. You communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountability & Resourcefulness: You own what you do, are dependable and can figure things out.
- Organization: You are organized and can manage multiple tasks while staying on track with deliverables. You can set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Putting It All Together: You can combine your enthusiasm, passion, curiosity, education and experiences to see the big picture, focus on the details, solve complex problems and communicate effectively. The team show these qualities every day and we are looking for like-minded individuals.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
