Role
Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Lands Division, the Executive Director (ED), Lands Planning is responsible for leading key aspects of Alberta’s land management system, including sub-regional plans, Environment and Parks (EPA) contributions to regional planning, and cumulative effects management frameworks, all of which contribute to Government of Alberta priorities.
In this ED role, you will lead a high-performing team of professionals, all working towards developing sub-regional plans, issue specific plans, water management plans; environmental management frameworks (for air quality, water (quality/quantity), groundwater, and biodiversity); and regional assessments.
