Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Storage & Rental
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This part-time position will primarily focus on managing overdue storage accounts, late payments, and car and truck rental damage claims. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and efficient individual with a strong background in administrative tasks, customer service, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Experience in car rental or storage services is an asset, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and track overdue storage accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups and communication with customers.
- Monitor and process late storage payments following escalation procedures.
- Handle car and truck rental damage claims, including gathering documentation, processing claims, and communicating with customers resolve issues.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all accounts, damage claims, and payment statuses.
- Prioritize and manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience in the car rental or storage industry is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
- Ability to problem-solve and handle sensitive issues with diplomacy.
- Previous administrative experience is considered an asset.
