Job Description
We are recruiting a Business Systems Analyst
to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a positive impact on a growing organization through improving business systems, such as our large-scale ERP. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will work across the organization to identify business requirements for implementing new functionality and enhancements to existing processes. This is a critical role to ensure processes are efficient, improve workflows across various areas of the business, and ensure team members are trained and proficient in the ERP. This position offers a base salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 CAD, depending on experience.
Where You’ll Work – This role is open to remote work from one of the provinces that we are established in: Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. There are opportunities for hybrid work if located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
The Business Systems Analyst will have key responsibilities such as:
- Acting as an internal lead on various IT projects/systems (ex. Oracle Fusion, SharePoint, AI use, etc.).
- Understanding and documenting the needs of various departments regarding their business processes and how they interact with our ERP (Oracle Fusion).
- Identifying inefficiencies in current processes and providing recommendations to improve workflows.
- Working with the development team to configure and customize Oracle to meet specific business requirements.
- Ensuring Oracle training subscription is utilized by staff to increase knowledge and proficiency.
- Creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides related to Oracle.
- Providing regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including project teams, end-users, vendors, and senior management, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Assisting with other IT related tasks in coordination with an external IT managed service provider.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or information technology.
- 5 years of experience working with large and complex system ERP systems.
- 3-5 years of project management experience. Project management certification is an asset.
- Strong business acumen.
- Experience managing and working with third party vendors.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting and documenting business requirements for system implementation and enhancements.
- Strong communication and ability to influence others. Able to lead working sessions with stakeholders from various functions.
- Experience working with Oracle is considered a strong asset.
