About the role
Job Overview
Cochrane Nissan is looking for a couple of responsible and reliable driver's to assist with deliveries of vehicles to various locations across the province. Our busy sales department offers delivery across Western Canada so we are looking for driver's to help facilitate. We also require driver's from time to time for to deliver or pick up vehicles from other dealerships, auctions, and other various locations.
Most trips are within Alberta and can be completed in one day. Some trips may require an overnight stay or alternative transportation to or from a pickup/drop-off like a flight. Expenses like hotel stays, fuel and flights are paid for by Cochrane Nissan.
The ideal candidate will require an Alberta Driver's license with a clean abstract and be available (with proper notice).
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
