Job Description
As a Manager in Retail Risk Modeling, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk models that support the retail banking business. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the models are robust, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development of retail risk models, including credit risk, fraud risk, and operational risk models.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor model performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Finance).
- 5+ years of experience in risk modeling or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in retail banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to risk modeling.
