Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and digitally savvy Digital Marketing & Business Development Representative to help grow brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and support key outreach initiatives. This hybrid role merges modern marketing execution with outbound business development and prospect engagement. Ideal for a self-starter who thrives on both creativity and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing

  • Plan and manage multi-channel content calendars (LinkedIn, Facebook, email)
  • Execute email marketing campaigns via HubSpot, track KPIs (opens, clicks, conversions), and manage list growth
  • Coordinate digital ad placements (excluding Google Ads) and sponsored content through traditional outlets (e.g., Times Colonist, CHEK)
  • Create, maintain, and optimize digital landing pages that support recruitment and service promotions
  • Track and report on digital campaign performance with monthly summaries and improvement recommendations
  • Manage internal newsletter content and distribution
  • Maintain accurate records, track success and report on marketing initiative effectiveness

Business Development

  • Research and identify prospective B2B clients via LinkedIn, web, and CRM tools
  • Conduct cold and warm outreach via email, social messaging, and phone to book meetings or demos
  • Assist in developing and executing lead generation campaigns tied to direct mail, digital events, or regional outreach
  • Qualify inbound leads from digital campaigns, helping convert interest into opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records, track engagement, and report on lead conversion metrics

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in digital marketing, business development, or a hybrid sales/marketing role
  • A passion to help grow market share and develop sales leads
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, HubSpot (or other CRMs), email campaign tools, and basic content design platforms (e.g., Canva)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to contribute to light copywriting, branding, or campaign messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple campaigns and outreach efforts simultaneously
  • Familiarity with B2B outreach and lead qualification
  • Marketing or Business Diploma Preferred
