About the role

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie AB is looking for an Account Manager to join their team!
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining a client base as well as hunting new business. This role will involve traveling within northern BC and parts of AB

Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge
Salary starting at 80,000k annually with a competitive commission structure

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Promote revenue and margin growth by selling industrial and Specialty Services to clients
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and underpenetrated customers through prospecting, quoting and negotiating solutions
  • Establishing industry contacts, activity cadence and adherence to growth strategy
  • Builds strategic account plans for all owned accounts to win business from competitors
  • Ensures customer satisfaction; interact with operations and customers to deliver exceptional service
  • Handle disputes, conflicts and troubleshoot with clients
  • Deliver effective contract and relationship management
  • Document necessary customer information and interaction i.e. Salesforce
  • Uphold and role-model corporate values.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years relevant experience; sales experience required;
  • Ability to give direction and coaching on how to develop and execute account plans; prioritize accounts based on key factors;
  • Ability to use sophisticated numerical analyses to drive decision making;
  • Industry and company knowledge, selling and negotiation, relationship building;
  • Communication, accountability for completing job responsibilities/objectives; lead sub-groups;
  • Ability to travel 50%+ within region.
