Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a strong background in construction to support project design, execution, and management. This role requires hands-on experience in civil works, technical oversight, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in planning, designing, and overseeing civil construction projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and design documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Assist in cost estimation, material selection, and procurement planning.
- Solve technical challenges and provide on-the-spot engineering solutions during construction.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards and local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, logs, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer in the construction industry.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred or in-progress.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and site development.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Work Environment
- Office and field-based work depending on project phase.
- Occasional extended hours or weekend work based on deadlines or field conditions.
