You’ll act as a key bridge between technical and content-focused stakeholders, working with designers, product managers, technical writers, developers, and external linguists. You’ll manage end-to-end localization—from UI strings to Help Center articles—ensuring a consistent, high-quality multilingual experience for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with product managers, developers, designers, and technical writers to ensure smooth project planning and on-time delivery
- Use our Translation Management Systems (TMS) to coordinate workflows and manage localization projects
- Facilitate communication of project requirements with our translation agency, resolving questions and issues and route feedback to improve translation quality
- Work with developers on the technical aspects of string management in our Translation Management Systems, including flagging internationalization issues and advocating strong internationalization foundations
- Perform quality control, validate translated content and manage terminology consistency and tone
And a little bit of....
- Contribute to localization process improvements, standards, systems and best practices by escalating day-to-day project challenges
- Support continuous improvement of internal tools, translation workflows, and reference material maintenance
- Incorporate customer feedback from the Support team and Onboarding team in the Customers department to continuously improve the self-serve experience
- Collaborate with other members on the Localization team to define and drive the company-wide localization strategy
What You Need To Bring
- Minimum 2 years experience in software localization
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, International Communications or a related field
- Experience working with a TMS, project management tool and bug tracking system
- Familiarity with internationalization and QA best practices; linguistic validation is a plus
- Experience working in a tech or SaaS environment strongly preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication in English and at least one of: French, Dutch, German or Spanish
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment across multiple timezones
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated capacity for solution-focused outlook while understanding complex systems
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices, including Artificial Intelligence
- Compassionate, inclusive, and collaborative: you make stakeholders and teammates feel heard and valued
What's In It For You
- Join a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Surround yourself with strong talent and enjoy continuous professional growth.
- Develop in a modern and proven technology stack.
- Great benefits and perks, including equity and flexible/hybrid remote work options, in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Development of very high traffic products, used at the global scale.
- Opportunities to learn and expand your skill set
- Become a valued part of the diverse and inclusive Lightspeed family.
… and enjoy a range of benefits that’ll keep you happy, healthy and (not) hungry:
- Lightspeed equity scheme (we are all owners)
- Flexible paid time off policy
- Health Insurance
- Health and wellness benefit of $500 per year
- Paid leave and assistance for new parents
- Mental health online platform and counseling & coaching services
