Position Title: Flat Roof Apprentice

Compensation Pathway:

• Flat Roofing Apprentice Level 1: $22–27/hr
• Flat Roofing Apprentice Level 2: $27–30/hr (after 6-12 months)
• Flat Roof Technician Level 1: $30–32/hr (after 12–18 months)
• Flat Roof Technician Level 2: $32–35+/hr (after 18–24 months)

Position Type: Full Time

Your Role:

• Assist senior flat roof technicians with various tasks including membrane installation, and roof removals
• Set up and maintain a safe and organized job site
• Learn industry-best practices for flat roof SBS systems
• Represent Cooper Roofing with professionalism and pride

What You Bring:

• Physically fit (able to lift up to 80 lbs)
• Hardworking and dependable
• Great attention to detail
• Comfortable with heights and working outdoors year-round
• Able to arrange your own transportation to job sites
• 2+ years general labor experience (construction or roofing preferred)
• Roofing or flat roofing experience is an asset
• Comfortable using basic technology (smartphone, apps, email)
• Presentable and professional appearance
• Fall Protection Certification is a plus
• Available for occasional Saturday work when needed
