As the CRM Specialist - Segmentation, you will be the centralized point of contact and subject matter expert in customer segmentation. You will be responsible for driving marketing innovation through data transformation and customer targeting strategies. Instrumental in leveraging customer data to develop highly targeted and personalized marketing campaigns that increase engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value. Led by the Manager, Marketing - Email, this opportunity will suit someone who has a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem and excellent analytical skills.

Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:

  • Design and implement advanced customer segmentation strategies and continuously refine segments based on customer insights and campaign performance.
  • Analyze customer data to uncover trends and drive actionable insights. Recommend strategies to boost acquisition, retention, and cross-sell. Work closely with Research & Insights to centralize marketing data.
  • Collaborate with channel teams to launch targeted omni-channel campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for engagement and conversion.
  • Develop workflows and documentation for customer segments and campaign processes. Maintain a library of targeted offers to support campaign execution and measurement.
  • Partner with IT and Digital Product teams to define data requirements, prioritize key data transformations, and contribute to CRM roadmap planning and data migration efforts.
  • Enhance customer data accuracy by optimizing match rules and identifying data quality gaps. Recommend data enrichment strategies within the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Establish audit and governance processes, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and manage permissions in coordination with Legal.
  • Drive CRM performance by defining KPIs, conducting cohort and performance analyses, and optimizing personalized campaigns across customer segments. Monitor competitive landscape to identify innovations and strategic opportunities.

We’re looking for:

  • Diploma in Business or Digital Marketing with 3–5 years of CRM and customer segmentation experience, particularly in retail.
  • Bilingual French would be considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and journey mapping across both in-store and digital channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in analyzing large data sets using tools like PowerBI, Excel, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, qualitative reasoning, and predictive modeling.
  • Skilled in Customer Data Platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
  • Knowledge of customer data integration, AI applications, encryption, anonymization, and data privacy compliance.
  • Understanding of data unification to ensure a comprehensive, single customer view.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate resources to deliver projects.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of launching new programs.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business insights tools.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
