If you are interested in applying broad Mechanical Engineering principles in the structural design, analysis and certification of jet engines rotating components. The role type is onsite, working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with a wide network of specialist.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Mississauga, and is exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?

Participate in IPT teams
-
Build 2D/3D thermal and structural finite element models of compressor rotors
-
Use in-house and commercial software to perform various analyses such as:
- Fatigue analysis (LCF / HCF)
- Fracture mechanics
- Impact analysis – ice, bird
- Rotor burst assessment

R&D to support the next generation of technologies and methods

Quality note disposition and Engineering source approvals

Support Production and Field operations
What do you need to be successful?
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Being interested in and capable of sharing knowledge
- Being innovative
