You will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables or marinating proteins.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Follow proper procedures for food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
• Experience in food preparation or cooking is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
• Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$25.88 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
