IT Administrator

Minimum Qualifications

  • Preferably a degree in computer science or related field OR working towards one
  • Former experience in network management.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with (willing to train):

  • Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network switches and LAN related issues. Ubiquity Unifi experience will be an asset.
  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, Chromebooks as well as setup, configuration and imaging of new devices.
  • Defining, configuring and troubleshooting network printers.
  • Network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and DHCP, NAT.
  • Creating users and groups in active directory and managing groups.
  • Management of Google workspace for Education and Google integration with Active directory and synchronization.
  • Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Multimedia projector maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to school staff as required.
  • Identify problems and areas of improvement and suggest solutions to management.
  • negotiate and work with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
  • Recommend and execute IT related projects as per the school need
