Louis W. Bray Construction Limited is currently seeking a Part-Time Quarry Loader Operator to join our team at our Vars location. This position is ideal for someone experienced in operating heavy equipment who is looking for steady, part-time hours during the week.
Position Overview
As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader to move and load aggregate materials within our quarry operations. This role reports directly to the Quarry Manager and supports overall site production, maintenance, and safety objectives.
This is a part-time position, working Wednesdays through Fridays, with a start date in June 2025.
Key Responsibilities

Operate front-end loader to move materials such as gravel, stone, and sand

Load trucks with aggregate materials for delivery or processing

Maintain equipment by performing daily inspections and reporting any issues

Follow all safety procedures and site regulations

Keep work areas clean and organized

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Quarry Manager
Qualifications

Prior experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment (required)

Strong safety awareness and understanding of quarry operations

Ability to work independently and follow directions

Reliable transportation to and from the quarry site

Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
