A Little More About Your Role… We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Arboricultural Consultant to join our team in the south or east of England. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Principal Consultant and mentor junior team members alongside you day-to-day role as a senior consultant managing projects and site surveying. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of arboricultural services across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Principal Consultant
• Mentor and guide junior team members, developing their skills as consultants and fostering their professional development.
• Conduct tree surveys, assessments, and inspections in accordance with industry standards including but not limited to BS5837.
• Prepare detailed tree survey reports, impact assessments and method statements.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices as part of a Clerk of Works / Supervisor role.
• Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…

• Minimum of a Level 4 qualification in arboriculture or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience in arboriculture, with a strong understanding of tree management and assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using arboricultural software and tools including Treeplotter, AutoCAD, Word.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Full UK driving license.
