SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving Land Survey merchandise and rental sales, processing service requests, and maintaining customer relationships through various communication channels. The role includes preparing equipment for rental, managing orders, resolving customer complaints, and promoting products and services. The position requires strong technical knowledge of surveying equipment , proficiency in customer service, and experience with inside sales, order entry, and inventory control. Occasional involvement in marketing efforts and maintaining the eCommerce website is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and minimal travel (less than 10%) is necessary. This is a full-time, daily on-site position , with daytime hours at our location in Lachine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sells merchandise, rental sales and processes service requests.
- Communicates with customers, in person, by phone (incoming and cold calls), fax, or e-mail.
- Confers with potential customer to determine equipment, supplies, and service needs and closes sale
- Provide product demonstration, referring higher level requirements as necessary.
- Technically sound with all equipment that is sold at the Solutions Center. Continuous training and education on all products sold.
- Enters orders, processes invoices and payments.
- Prepares equipment for rental.
- Computes rental fee based on daily, weekly and monthly rates.
- Refer sales leads and training needs to appropriate LGS personnel.
- Work with Direct Sales, Sales Support and Service to promote new markets, improve competitive position in area, and provide fast and efficient customer service.
- Maintains eCommerce website, as it relates to order processing and customer service.
- Works with Management on Marketing for internal display, publications and advertising.
- Effectively handles customer complaints, examines returned merchandise, and resolves problems to restore and promote good customer relations.
- Resolves customer billing or service issues, referring complaints to the designated departments for investigation.
- Assists in delivery requirements on local level as needed.
- Accurately enter all sales, rental and customer information into the system.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE , QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 4-5 years of related experience, preferably in construction or surveying equipment sales or operations.
- Experience with surveying, engineering, or construction instruments (e.g., GPS Systems, Total Stations, 3D Laser Scanners, Digital Levels, Laser Distance Meters) preferred.
- Proven experience in inside sales, inventory control, order entry, fulfillment, and customer service in an equipment-related industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
COMPENSATION
- Pay range is 85K-90K (CAN) with an additional 20K-30K (CAN) on target commission.
