Receptionist (P/T)
****Seeking coverage for Friday (10-6) and Saturday (10-4) shifts. Potential for switching or covering additional shifts as needed.

Our Naturopathic clinic seeks a friendly, outgoing, multi-tasker who is detail oriented and organized to fill the role of Receptionist. We are located in the Mission area of downtown Calgary (Holy Cross Centre).
There will be opportunities for more hours and for promotions based on performance.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment, which includes exceptional organizational and problem solving skills, the ability to anticipate and avoid problems, have a strong connection and knowledge of alternative medicine (holistic nutritionists, a former patient or family members treated with naturopathic medicine, trainers, or general health enthusiast).
Responsibilities Include:
- Exceptional client services and communications, including: client scheduling and booking, payment processing (including direct billing to insurers), client requests, confirmation and in-person greetings; be the face of Healthflow!
- Monitor and maintain client database; Problem solving skills a must!
- Monitor and maintain clinic dispensary.
- Manage client complaints and problems, internal communications and conflict management, problem solving.
- Open and close clinic in a timely manner, leaving it tidy and orderly leaving handovers for the next staff member.
- Administrative assistant support to Clinic Manager and Clinic Director.
The Ideal Candidate Possesses:
- Exceptional, professional communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and relations
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on efficiency, and detail orientated
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments - can think quick on their feet
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Experience booking and scheduling (Jane app considered an asset)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer service focused environment
- A strong connection (personal or professional) to Naturopathic Medicine and/or other complementary medicines
- A proactive positive attitude and willingness to learn. Excitement to develop new ideas and processes which will enhance the client experience
- A warm, approachable, and empathetic personality with a can-do attitude
- Well spoken, both written and orally
- Experience as a Receptionist or in a Customer Service role is an asset.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma, college degree preferred but not required
- Additional studies in the Health and Wellness industry is an asset
