About the Role

As a Sales Development Manager, you will own the end-to-end success of our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), leading a team of 5 to 10 reps focused on outbound and inbound prospecting primarily targeting SMB and mid-market segments. This is a hands-on leadership role where leading by example is key. You will report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer with a dotted line to our Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive and meet monthly and quarterly targets for Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) and revenue contribution
  • Onboard, train, and coach SDRs with a strong emphasis on skill-building and continuous improvement
  • Develop and deliver creative prospecting strategies and messaging to increase engagement and conversion rates
  • Conduct regular live role plays and review recorded calls to provide actionable feedback
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align SDR focus and outreach cadence
  • Partner with marketing to optimize lead-to-opportunity conversion and maximize campaign ROI
  • Cultivate a motivated and enthusiastic team environment that encourages high performance

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience managing sales development teams with a proven track record of outbound success
  • Natural ability to demonstrate best practices, conduct role plays, and make real outbound calls alongside your team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Competitive drive and curiosity to continuously improve results
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, or similar sales tools
  • Strong work ethic and a “get it done” mentality
