HOUSEKEEPING AIDE (25-0000599)
Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR HRM
Status: Casual
Department: Environmental Services
Site: Hogarth Riverview Manor
Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends
Rate of Pay: $22.428 - $23.939 per hour
Number of Position: 2
Qualifications:
-
Minimum Grade 12 required
-
Previous cleaning experience in a health care facility a definite asset
-
Must be in good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of the job
-
Must work both independently and as a part of a team
-
Able to operate all equipment
-
Knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety regulations an asset
-
Ability to read and write English
-
Basic computer skills
-
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
