Pay Range Commensurate with Experience

The Change Management Lead will lead and support project team(s) in both the execution and adoption of high-impact projects and initiatives aligned with VHA’s strategic priorities for 2025-2030. This role focuses on delivering measurable outcomes and ensuring successful adoption by demonstrating effective change management leadership. Championing a co-design approach, the role ensures the voices of clients, families, frontline staff, and partners drive projects from conception to completion. As a key member of the Strategic Leadership Hub, the Change Management Lead will work with cross-functional teams across VHA (including frontline staff) to drive engagement and ensure successful strategy implementation. The Change Management Lead will focus on the creation of generative change, while advising and influencing the adoption of tools and processes that are best suited to VHA’s business needs.

This role will enhance the reputation of its department and organization, consistent with VHA’s vision, mission and core beliefs of services as well as building and supporting sustainable and productive public relations with clients and VHA staff and partners. #INVHACorp

Key Areas Of Accountability

  • Supports the development of the Strategic Leadership Hub and adhering to standardized tools, templates and processes
  • Champions a future-thinking, sustainability and solutions approach to projects
  • Leads and supports, with sponsors, a broad project team for complex, priority initiatives from project initiation to completion
  • Designs and ensures sustainability of collaborative annual department operational and strategic planning, and other priority processes
  • Leads the adoption of change management leading practices, including follow through on benefits realization for annual work plan priorities
  • Brings a quality improvement and evidence-based approach in supporting a project team’s design efforts for QI, model of care changes etc.
  • Works within and follows the policies, procedures and regulations related to staff safety as required by VHA and under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Key Skills, Experience And Behaviors Required For This Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related health care discipline from a recognized university preferred
  • Advanced degree, e.g., Master’s Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration or equivalent ideal
  • A minimum of two to three years in progressive leadership and change management roles, preferably within the healthcare sector preferred
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and delivering complex projects within a large system and / or organization
  • Strong technical skills in MS Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) and virtual collaboration tools like Zoom and Teams
  • Knowledge and experience in home care, hospital, and charitable community support sectors preferred
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred
  • PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, certification preferred
