About the role

Department / Branch: Richmond Branch

Reports to: Branch Manager and Operations Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: 6740 No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC V6Y 2C2

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality customer service to new and existing clients;
  • Complete customer transactions in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner;
  • Process counter transactions in a way that meets customer expectations;
  • Identify sales opportunities and refer them to the sales team for follow-up and closure to meet business goals set by the Branch;
  • Provide administrative support to Customer Relation Representatives and the Operations Officer.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of post-secondary degree or College Diploma in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A higher degree is an asset;
  • Minimum of one years of customer service or cashier experience. Banking experience is an asset;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese to effectively perform the responsibilities of the position. Verbal Cantonese skills are considered an asset;
  • Excellent attention to details;
  • Willingness to learn and self-motivation to support the team;
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle difficult situations;
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving work accuracy on the first attempt;
  • Strong common sense and patience, especially when addressing customer requests and inquires;
  • Proven adherence to bank policies and procedures.
