About the role
The Operations Supervisor Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor in ensuring the smooth running of production.
Established in 2008 in Mansonville, Nexkemia specializes in the manufacturing of expandable polystyrene (EPS) beads, serving a diverse client base in North America.
Essential Job Functions
- Follow up daily on the process and production.
- Assist with managing the production employees’ schedules.
- Review various production reports to input production data.
- Complete employee timesheets.
- Ensure that logbook instructions have been followed and that all checklists have been properly completed.
- Collaborate in updating various procedures.
- Complete daily follow-ups and contribute to writing the logbook.
- Ensure processes are running smoothly and procedures are being followed.
- Participate in production meetings as needed.
- Participate in various activities and tasks related to occupational health and safety.
- Track training and employee progress.
- Support the extrusion and reactor production.
- Review area inspections and ensure work orders have been completed as needed.
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Over 2 years of industrial experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Proficiency in French is required
