About the role
Superflux Beer Company is seeking a motivated, passionate and talented
individual to join our production team based in Vancouver. The
Production Packaging Lead is accountable for all aspects of packaging beer,
following and developing company SOPs, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and leading the packaging team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and passionate about beer, and shall possess at least 2 years experience in a professional brewery packaging role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and operate canning and kegging equipment (Wild Goose Canning Line)
- Test quality and consistency of packaged product
- Assist in cellar operations/cleaning as needed
- Maintaining a very clean and organized work environment
- Filling kegs and cleaning kegs as needed
- Detailed maintenance of all packaging equipment
- Organize warehouse
- Lead packaging team with positivity
- Train staff in the safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment
- Inventory and ordering of packaging related materials and spare parts
Job Qualifications
- Exemplary attention to detail
- A passion for great beer
- Experience operating a Wild Goose Canning Line
- Fork-Lift Operator license
- Enjoy work of a physical nature, being on your feet for most of the day, able to lift 25kg and maneuver 70 kg kegs
- Ability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday
- Has experience using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheet)
- Has a valid Canadian work permit
Compensation / Start Date:
- Compensation TBD based upon applicant’s qualifications,
- Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
- Job Type: Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week
- Weekly beer allowance
