This opportunity includes paid training, ongoing technical development, and structured advancement opportunities within national defense infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of mechanical and refrigeration components.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support system diagnostics.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (e.g., refrigerant handling).
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or diploma or certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Technician, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC/R systems, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidates May Be:
- Recent or upcoming graduates from college or trades programs
- Interested in structured roles with training and advancement potential
- Open to relocation or working across different regions in Canada
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents
