OVERVIEW: The Lead Generation Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of our sales pipeline. As a proactive and results-driven professional, this individual is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients through a variety of channels, including outbound calling campaigns, responding to inbound phone inquiries, online lead submissions, industry events and more.
This role is essential to the success of our sales team, acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations. By arranging high-quality appointments and nurturing early-stage relationships, the Lead Generation Specialist ensures a steady flow of qualified opportunities for our account executives.
Success in this role requires a strong hunter mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for uncovering new business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly self-motivated, and is committed to delivering a positive first impression that reflects the professionalism and integrity of our brand.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Research and identify potential clients through outbound calls, email outreach, social media and industry databases.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs, assess fit, and determine sales readiness using defined qualification criteria.
- Schedule high-quality meetings between qualified leads and the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff by ensuring essential group details, such as census information, are gathered in advance.
- Log all interactions, lead details and follow-up activities in the CRM system to ensure data integrity and pipeline visibility.
- Work closely with the account executives, management and marketing teams to align messaging, share insights, and refine lead generation strategies.
- Consistently achieve or surpass weekly and monthly targets for outreach volume, qualified leads, and booked appointments.
- Keep up with industry trends, competitor offerings, and client pain points to tailor outreach and improve conversion rates.
