We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Calgary Studio. The ideal candidate brings strong writing and editing skills, as well as a deep understanding of developing and implementing strategies within the Marketing and Communications team.
Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications initiatives that enhance Zeidler’s brand and market presence. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders, this role creates compelling content that showcases our people, projects, and values across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging marketing and communications content that highlights Zeidler’s brand, value proposition, projects, and team.
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams and consultants to support initiatives such as project narratives, team CVs, events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, media campaigns, award submissions, and PR.
- Prepare and publish marketing content across digital channels, including the website, social media, intranet, and online publications.
- Create marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate and current marketing databases, including project narratives, staff bios, and process documentation.
- Assist in the implementation of the firm’s strategic marketing plan under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
- Coordinate and schedule project photography and videography, liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
- Provide support for proposal submissions and other cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Team + Culture
- Participate in firm-wide marketing initiatives and brainstorming sessions
- Able to work in a collaborative, in-office environment (100% in-office presence required to support direct team engagement and effective cross-functional coordination)
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, communications, architecture, or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the AEC or design sector
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, other graphic design tools and Microsoft Office
- Excellent writing, graphics, editing, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
