With years of experience behind us, we’re excited to be growing – and we’re now looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about neurodiversity and client centered care to join us.

About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic in a primarily in-person capacity, working across both our Toronto and Oakville locations.

As our new NP, you’ll join our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, pediatricians, psychologists, psychological associates, psychotherapists, and administrative staff. You’ll work with patients ages 6+ supporting ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and other related mental health concerns. This position will involve both assessment and follow-up care, as well as joining regular collab meetings, monthly medial meetings, and an active chat group ensuring peer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the assessment and diagnosis of children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions and related mental health comorbidities.
  • Conduct medical interviews for new assessments patients (ages 6+), working alongside our psychologists/psychological associates to discuss patients and align in diagnoses as well as the recommended treatment plans.
  • Implement customized treatment plans that include medication management and wellness recommendations.
  • Join the patient Feedback session to aid in delivery of the assessment results, providing psychoeducation around medical results and recommendations in a manner that is strengths-focused and easily understood.
  • Provide medical follow-ups to evaluate patient progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed, addressing patient concerns in a supportive manner.
  • Conduct medical consultations for returning medical patients and internal referrals to discuss patient concerns, changes in their wellbeing, and redesign a medical treatment plan accordingly.
  • Support the transition of care back to family physicians once medical treatment has been optimized.

Our administrative team is skilled and responsive, ready to support wherever needed to ease both patient and clinician experience. Additionally, our medical department hosts monthly medical meetings to discuss developments within the field of psychiatric mental health care, new internal processes, patient case conceptualization, and more!

Compensation Details:

  • Independent Contractor role, working 2-3 days per week (7–8 hour shifts) with the opportunity to increase hours based on clinic need.
  • Hourly rate: $100 - $150, paid on a bi-weekly schedule.

Your schedule may include daytime, evening, or weekend shifts; we’re committed to working with you to find a rhythm that aligns with your availability and our clinical needs.

Qualifications :

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN) and hold a Nurse Practitioner certification with the CNO, including passing the NP examination.
  • Experience providing psychiatric nursing care to individuals with attention challenges and related comorbidities.
  • Bonus points for those who hold a CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing!
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and our multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion and commitment in supporting our neurodiverse patients while adhering to ethical and professional standards of care.
  • A positive, non-judgmental, and progressive workplace attitude is essential.
