About the role
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Assistant.
Applicants must be available full time Monday to Friday from 8:30 am - 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquires via phone calls and email
- Following up with customers and providing support daily through email and phone
- Assisting sales representative with administrative tasks related to sales, service, order processing, deliveries, inventory, accounting, etc.
- Processing orders over the phone and our website
- Creating quotes for customers
- Transfer, verify and update data by comparing it to source documents
- Transfer data from paper formats into database systems and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
- Complete all other job duties as required
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an asset
- 2 year of data entry and administrative support experience is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent decision making and analytical skills
- Organized and strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Data entry experience
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
