Scheduler/ Portfolio Resource Coordinator
The Operations Scheduler/PRC is responsible for monitoring numerous systems, schedules, check-ins and safety. The Operations Scheduler will assist in the tracking and deployment of security staff.

Essential Job Functions:
- Communicates information to Clients and Security Staff using telecommunications systems and equipment, through email and phone calls
- Answers calls received by Security Staff
- Updates and maintains the company database
- Update and maintains Security Staff schedules as changes arise during shift as well as filling shifts as vacancies arise
- Work within a team-oriented environment to ensure that all scheduling and operational needs are met
- Process cancellations and fill openings in the daily schedule
- Strategically plan schedules to utilize resources effectively and efficiently to avoid unnecessary overtime
- Provide information to staff as requested regarding additional shifts, coverages and shift availability/locations
- Consistently update management with accurate daily Open Shift Logs
- Create, update and modify work schedules for Security Guards
- Process different employee requests in JIRA (Vacation requests, Reimbursement requests, payroll adjustments)
- Responsible for assisting with bi-weekly payroll lockdown
- Perform various other duties as needed based on operational needs
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the Security industry is preferred
- Proficient in computer usage with an ability to learn Paladin’s software: Winteam, JIRA, Power BI
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Superior customer service skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights Legislation (OT, DT, Payroll knowledge)
- Post-secondary education in business administration or related is preferred
- Eligible to work in Canada
Salary: $45000 - $55000 per year
