Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Saskatoon, Canada. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our guests and staff.

Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas

Make beds, change linens, and restock amenities in guest rooms

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in various areas of the facility

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks

Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
-
Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and manage recycling
-
Organize and maintain cleaning supply closets and housekeeping carts
-
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
-
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
-
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas
-
Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested
-
Receive linen orders and organize linen on housekeeping area
Qualifications
-
1-2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Camp Attendant, Janitor, or Chambermaid in a commercial setting could be an asset
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
-
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions
-
Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
-
Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
-
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
-
Good attendance record and reliability
-
Ability to follow established cleaning techniques and learn new procedures quickly
-
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception abilities
-
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
-
Basic English communication skills
-
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
