VPI Employment Services is hiring a Team Lead to support day-to-day operations, guide staff, and ensure service excellence in our branch network. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations
Deliver variance and pipeline updates, conduct file audits, and ensure reporting accuracy. Provide regular updates to the Branch Manager and Senior Manager to support data-driven decisions. - Coach, mentor, and develop staff
Facilitate onboarding and role-specific training for new hires. Identify coaching needs, conduct regular check-ins, and contribute to a high-performing, growth-oriented team culture. - Ensure service excellence and compliance
Review and approve client documentation, including Job Start and Employment-Related Financial Supports. Ensure service delivery meets internal quality standards and Employment Ontario compliance requirements. - Support operational continuity
Provide cross-functional backup support for key roles during staff absences ensuring seamless client service. - Promote community engagement and program visibility
Represent VPI at community events, with employer partners, and across local networks. Contribute to outreach strategies that support branch targets and reflect local labour market needs. - Drive performance and continuous improvement
Collaborate with the Branch Manager to implement staff performance action plans, address operational challenges, and share insights that support process improvements and team development.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of Employment Ontario services and client-focused service delivery
- Experience mentoring and coaching staff across various roles
- Confidence with data tools, file audits, and reporting dashboards
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Tech-savvy and adaptable; able to support multiple roles as needed
- Proven judgment, professionalism, and a proactive mindset
