Your Impact:
As part of the Digital Organization Business Operations Team, you will be part of the Digital Supplier Management team reviewing our digital vendor spend to ensure that we are deriving the value on the spend with them. In this role you own and must understand the contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered to the organization. The vendors spend profile could be hardware/ hardware support or software/ software support. In this role you will be collaborating with stakeholders and leadership from across Cloud Services, Network& Infrastructure Ops, IT and Global Security teams, Sourcing, Finance to facilitate conversations to identify opportunities such as cost reduction, value leakage, risk mitigation,& consolidation of contracts upon the digital vendor spend.
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will:
- Responsible to run a robust and standardized strategic vendor management program that aligns with business objectives to deliver the intended results.
- Develop a structured vendor performance management framework to implement consistency across our digital vendor portfolio.
- Understand the digital vendor spending by category, cost center, region, and vendor.
- Classify, rationalize, and optimize the vendor portfolio, and concentrate efforts on managing the most strategic vendors.
- Establish and communicate clear and concise vendor performance management metrics by creating effective vendor spend profile, scorecards, and dashboards.
- Create and issue satisfaction surveys that encompass both internal and vendor 360-degree feedback, and act on concerns.
- Define the contractual performance levels and assist in setting internal customer expectations for performance.
- Focus vendor performance metrics on technical, process, and business outcomes, such as innovation, competitive advantage, and increased revenue. Define and hold strategic vendors to higher performance standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain/enhance tools for use in vendor management, including vendor tracking, analytics, and performance management tools (scorecards and dashboards).
- Collect, consolidate, and communicate detailed reports and key vendor data to stakeholders on vendor performance, risk, and relationships. Foster analytics-driven decisions based on this data.
- Socialize amongst the various stakeholders about the information gleaned from market intelligence reports on the vendors, the products/ offerings, and potential competitors, while conducting vendor analysis and research.
What you need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
- You will have 5 to 8 years of experience in vendor management, vendor performance management, business relationship management.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across organizations and cultures at all levels with ability to lead work across multiple stakeholders under competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Must have superior analytical, decision-making, and strong negotiation skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, matrixed environment.
