A career as a Fiduciary Services Senior Manager in the Trust and Philanthropic Services team at National Bank means acting as a strategic partner for our high-net-worth clients. This role allows you to have a positive impact through your expertise in trust administration, your strong communication skills, and your ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.

Your job

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering services that meet the trust division’s client experience standards
  • Diligently process files under your responsibility and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive business development with targeted sectors (e.g., Private Banking 1859, National Bank Financial, Personal Banking Network)
  • Deliver presentations and training to internal partners to promote asset retention
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including the digital transformation of client communications and internal processes
  • Prepare regular reports and communications for clients

Your team

At National Bank Trust, you report to the Vice-President Trust and Philanthropic Services and manage a team of two experienced specialists in the industry. You will participate in the sector's mission, which is primarily to offer trust services to individuals and specialized advice to affluent clients. The team works proactively, collaboratively, and with agility to provide our clients with distinguished and expert services while being recognized for its professionalism, human approach and expertise developed over more than 90 years.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong background in customer service and an advisory role
  • Willingness to travel when required to support client needs
  • Good organizational skills and managing priorities
  • Ability to resolve a wide range of complex situations in a practical way
  • Communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts
  • Knowledge or experience in estate liquidation/settlement or trust administration (an asset)
  • Knowledge of investments or financial planning (an asset)
