Automotive Receptionist / Sales & Accounting Administrative Assistant
About the role
Cobourg Kia, part of the Plaza Auto group, is looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist/ Administrator to join the team.
In this key role, you will be the first point of contact with customers in person and by telephone and must represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Experience operating a multi-line telephone system.
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Organization, Multi-Tasking Skills, and attention to detail.
- Customer-friendly attitude when greeting customers.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Previous reception experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- PBS Experience is an asset.
- Previous Dealership experience is an Asset
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Essential Duties:
(Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.)
- Operating a multi-line telephone system to transfer all incoming calls to the appropriate individual/department courteously and professionally.
- Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate person/department
- Stocking in vehicles, assigning stock numbers, updating registers, creating dockets, and posting into PBS as directed.
- Licensing of new and pre-owned vehicles
- Assistance to the Sales Team in recording and facilitating Finance & Insurance administration
- Maintaining a professional appearance and a neat work and waiting area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dealership procedures is a plus and may encourage a higher rate of pay
- Proficiency in using Google Suite or similar software for scheduling and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Friendly and professional demeanor
