About the role
A structured Bartender role is critical to assist all beverage staff in daily Food & Beverage operation of the River Cree Resort & Casino.
Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the Bartender will be responsible to receive and prepare drink orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Prepare drink orders.
- Open the bar with appropriate supplies.
- Receive money for drinks and give change back.
- Use of Micros.
- Clean the bar at the end of the night.
- Cash closing procedures
- Bartender for Centre Bar may be required to work in another Food & Beverage Outlet as directed by Management.
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum 3 years high volume bartending experience is a must
- AGLC - Proserve/Protect preferred
- Communication Skills good speaking and listening skills to understand that tasks are being asked of them and to deal with any concerns from guests.
- Physical Ability Many of the Bartenders tasks require him/her to carry loads up to 25lbs. During any expediting he/she must be able to move the load on a tray across the restaurant floor smoothly.
- Good with dealing with stressful situations
- Good health and personal hygiene.
- Has an interest in learning about food and beverage service.
- Has a cheerful, positive attitude.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
