Shift Details:
Availability required for Days, Evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays
8 hour shifts: 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
Ability to travel to multiple sites and have access to a reliable vehicle is required
Job Qualifications
Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping or janitorial experience in a healthcare setting

Completion of Home Support Program or secondary school diploma preferred

Must have a valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
-
Demonstrate understanding and adherence to infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols, with competence in a range of environmental cleaning tasks (e.g., sweeping mopping dusting polishing vacuuming waste removal, restroom sanitation, and discharge cleaning)

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency

Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Commitment to safeguarding the confidentiality of client and corporate information

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel and reach repeatedly throughout the workday
-
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted and perform repetitive tasks

Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Diligence in reporting health and safety, any damages, shortages, or unusual occurrences to supervisory personnel
Please note that based on government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
